This time, I made a little diorama set in one of the most used locations in Zerocalcare's comics: the couch! In fact, the main character (and author alter ego) loves to eat plumcakes watching tv series.
As usual, I had some fun adding a bunch of little easter eggs about the comics and the author himself.

As usual, I had some fun adding a bunch of little easter eggs about the comics and the author himself.
The biggest part of the work has been done in Cinema 4d. I used ZBrush to make a rough base mesh of the characters and the armadillo's shell, then I used Topogun for retopology. About the textures, I used 3d Coat for the characters and Substance Designer and Painter for the rest. Rendering in Arnold for c4d.
